Not far from the technical school lies the Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, which accommodates approximately 1,000 students, both boys and girls. This is the first co-educational school in the surrounding area, offering education from grade 1 of primary school up to the secondary school final examination (12th standard).
Over the years, the Pater Schlooz Foundation has provided support to this school, including the recent construction of a boarding facility for 150 boys, for whom the distance to school is too great to commute daily. With assistance from a Lions club and a significant contribution from Cordaid, we financed the construction and furnishing of the facility. We continue to contribute annually to the costs of food and care for the children in the boarding house.
