Night schools Jawadhi Hills

Discover Kadambur and Thalavadi. A remote region where indigenous communities live in profound poverty, where the population is largely illiterate, and where schools are nonexistent. Parents must be educated on the value of schooling for their children. Due to the lack of schools and poor accessibility, SDB has established evening schools, providing children with the opportunity to receive education close to home. To facilitate regular schooling, 185 children are enrolled in what are known as “tribal boarding schools,” where care and protection are offered.
