In 2012, we commemorated the 100th anniversary of the birth of Frans Schlooz in Venlo. For more than sixty years, this missionary dedicated himself in an almost superhuman manner to serving the poorest of the poor in the Tamil Nadu region of southeastern India. His work then, and still today, remains an unparalleled source of inspiration for many.
The Venlo committee of the Pater Schlooz Foundation has decided to immortalize the life of this honorary citizen of Venlo in a publication for future generations.
